Detroit has been credited as one of the Soul Music capitals of the world, spawning legendary artists like The Four Tops, Marvin Gaye and Diana Ross just to name a few. In the mid 1980s, Detroit's Underground Music Movement has brought rise to artists such as Derrick May, Juan Atkins, Carl Craig, Kevin Saunderson, Blake Baxter, Eddie "Flashin" Fowlkes, UR, Jeff Mills, and a host of others. But unlike the aforesaid names, Terrence Parker has established himself as a producer, remixer and DJ of the classic sound of Detroit House Music, and is known as the pioneer of the music genre known as “Inspirational House Music”! As a DJ, Terrence Parker (known to many as "TP") has become legendary for his quite uncommon yet skillful turntablism style of playing House Music. TP has also become widely admired because he uses an actual telephone handset as headphones; causing some to give him the nick name, "Telephone Man". Others call him the "Telephone Man" because he has answered the CALL to bring us music to feed our souls!

TP's current album entitled “Life On The Back 9” (out now on Defected Records / licensed from Planet E) debuted on the Traxsource Top 100 Album Sales Chart at No # 3, and the following week went to No. # 1. It stayed at No. # 1 for 3 weeks. “Life On The Back 9” has been on the chart since November 2, 2014. TP has performed as a DJ in 28 countries (more than 200 hundred cities) throughout the world. These events range from night clubs (large and small) to music festivals with more than 100,000 people. Since 1988, TP has released more than 100 recordings on various labels, and has had top 20 hits with his songs "Love's Got Me High" (with 2012 remixes by Marc Romboy and Jimpster), "The Question" and albums like "Detroit After Dark" in the U.K., The Netherlands, Germany, and France.
Terrence’s latest release for 2014 is his album entitled, “Life On The Back 9” released in January on Carl Craig’s Planet E label in Detroit with a new expanded version to be released in November on Defected Records in London. This album tells the story of how he was encouraged by his father to continue on forward by the struggles and challenges of life. The album features the writing contributions and vocal performances by Merachka, Coco Street, Kelly Gunn, and Reno Ka. The album has produces several single releases with remix productions by Carl Craig, Underground Resistance/Timeline, Louie Vega, Josh Milan, Monty Luke, Marc Romboy, Merachka, House Of Praise and Terrence Parker.
TP has also relaunched his Intangible Records imprint for 2014 re-releasing some of his classic productions along with music from new artists like Merachka.

Terrence's high quality of music productions, remixes, and DJ skill has been recognized by organizations such as the Detroit Historical Museum's History of Techno International Exhibit, and Indiana State University's Department Of African American Music And Culture. TP's collective musical works and pioneering efforts have been recognized as a valuable contribution to Detroit's music history, as well as the International History Dance Music.
TP's incredible DJing talents have been heard on radio networks throughout the world such as on Superfly FM in Vienna/Austria, Channel 955 FM’s "The Pulse" (Detroit's No # 1 Pop/Urban FM Radio Station) and FM 98 WJLB's "Club Insomnia" Mix Show (Detroit’s # 1 Hip Hop Station).

Terrence is also a well respected remixer. Merachka is a producer, remixer, writer, singer, and DJ who firmly represents the city of Detroit. As a masked crusader, Merachka’s music productions, song writing, vocal performances and remixes have captivated dance floors worldwide on labels such as Defected, Planet E, Nervous Records, Soul Heaven, Bargrooves, Intangible, etc...

2017 kicked off with a release on Nervous Records, entitled "Acid Overlook" Ataxia featuring Merachka, including collaboration with Detroit legend Terrence Parker. This anthem acid track gained popularity swiftly on the Beatport top 100 release chart. Prior to that, in 2016 a single release on Carl Craig’s Planet E label entitled “Don’t Waist Another Minute” took hold, which she co-produced & co-wrote with Terrence Parker for his upcoming May 2017 album release “GOD Loves’s Detroit” on Planet E. The first half of 2016 Merachka slowed the tempo down with a deep introspective ambient techno release on Intangible Records entitled “Flash The Light” which she co-produced & co-wrote with techno producer GunBee from Belgium, following that release was an artistic music video she herself produced.

In November 2014, London based Defected Records released “Open Up Your Spirit” featuring Merachka as the song’s lyrical writer, vocalist, and remixer for this lead single from Terrence Parker’s “Life On The Back 9” expanded version. This critically acclaimed single helped drive the album to the number 1 spot on the Traxsource Top 100 Album Sales Chart within 1 week of its release. “Open Up Your Spirit” is one of the featured tracks on the “Life On The Back 9” original album release by Carl Craig’s Planet E label in Detroit, and appears on several UK Top 20 Dance Chart compilations for 2014 and 2015 including Defected In The House Amsterdam 2014, Soul Heaven Miami 2015, and Defected Most Rated 2015. In addition, Merachka has produced and released a collection of Detroit Techno tracks entitled “Undergroov EP” released on Terrence Parker’s Intangible Records, and has a remix of Kelly Gunn (Jarmon)’s “GOD HE Is” which also appears on the “Life On The Back 9” Defected album release.

As a live vocalist & DJ, Merachka has performed in Detroit, and toured performing at Ministry of Sound in London, Panorama Bar in Berlin, Djoon in Paris, along with clubs in Russia, Bulgaria, Belgium, Italy, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Iceland, Ireland, UAE, China, South Korea, Japan, Mexico, Nicaragua and USA.
