Located in Aptos, we are a Reform congregation of more than 500 families serving the Jewish community in the greater Santa Cruz area. We consider ourselves a Covenantal Community, meaning that we are bound together by our tradition, love of community, and commitment to sustaining a warm, caring and diverse Jewish center for ourselves, our children and future generations. At Temple Beth El, the joy of Jewish living is made accessible and relevant to contemporary life. We focus on learning, community, worship and the pursuit of Tikkun Olam (repairing the world).
