Bay Area teens are invited to The Museum for this one-of-a-kind teen night! Presented in conjunction with the exhibition "Daria Martin: Tonight the World," the event features interactive performances, music, and games inspired by memories, dreams, and technology. Plus art making, gallery activations, photo fun, snacks, prizes, and more. Event is for teens only.
"Daria Martin: Tonight the World" is an installation that combines computer gaming technology and film to explore the unconscious memories of artist Daria Martin's paternal grandmother, who, at the age of 16, fled the former Czechoslovakia with her family from the imminent threat of the Nazi occupation in 1938.
Teen Takeover is planned by The Museum's Teen Art Connect (TAC) interns and TAC Squad members.
