Join us for a calming afternoon of tea and meditation at the Dharma Treasury Temple, a place where history and spirituality beautifully intertwine. Once a Lutheran church on the corner of Ulloa Street and 33rd Avenue, this space has been transformed into a Buddhist temple that warmly welcomes all.

Ten-foot sandalwood sculptures of the Buddha, flanked by two sages, now grace the altar. Bathed in soft light filtering through stained glass windows--remnants of the church that once stood here--the sculptures create a serene atmosphere.

The melding of two religious worlds reflects the Temple's all-embracing ethos. "Our Temple welcomes all, regardless of ethnicity or religion, and does not seek to replace other religions," explains Master XianZhi, abbot of the Temple. "In our approach to people, we respect their background."
