Thank you for your interest in volunteering at San Francisco's Taste of the Nation event! Taste of the Nation for No Kid Hungry is the nation's premier culinary benefit, featuring top chefs and mixologists, all of whom are coming together to donate their time, talent and passion to end childhood hunger in America.
Volunteers are expected to attend a 3 hour shift, do not have free access to the event (but may purchase tickets with a discount code and attend after the shift is over), and are responsible for tasks ranging from ticketing, check in, coat check, busing tables, running materials for chefs, and keeping an eye on trash*.
Shift assignments will be organized by the Taste of the Nation team.
Dress code: plain/solid black shirts, black or dark jeans or slacks. Please wear comfortable shoes (reminder: you will be walking the event space, carrying trays / supplies).
*We partner with Recology to handle waste management, but ask that our volunteers be ready to get their hands dirty if necessary.
