More than 40 of the East Bay’s finest restaurant and beverage companies, including A16 Rockridge, Flora, Pican, Restaurant at Wente Vineyards, Shakewell Bar & Kitchen, Brown Sugar Kitchen, and Wood Tavern, will offer bites and drinks at the first-ever Taste of the Nation East Bay on Sunday, October 20, at The Claremont Hotel Club and Spa. Praised as the nation’s premier culinary benefit, Taste of the Nation is an elegant multi-course tasting event and fundraiser held in nearly 40 North American city benefiting Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign, which has united thousands of chefs, mixologists and top corporations across the company in the fight against childhood hunger for 25 years.
A VIP cocktail reception will begin at 3 p.m. and the main, multi-course tasting will start at 4 p.m. for all guests. Individual tickets for the event are $85 and VIP level tickets are available for $150. All proceeds benefit the No Kid Hungry campaign’s mission to end childhood hunger in America.
