Taste of Science is a week-long science outreach festival to bring together bright minds to give talks on a wide range of scientific topics, to a general audience. If you’ve always wanted to know more about science but were afraid of all the jargon, then this is the place to go!
Join Taste of Science at PianoFight for a night focused on space! Marcia Fiamengo a NASA Ambassador and Virgin Galactic Future Astronaut will speak about the importance of space exploration and Miguel Ramahlo-Santos, an associate professor at UCSF, will explain what he has learned from stem cells to open the possibility of suspended animation. Following the speakers, join us for Science Trivia hosted by the Stanford Complexity club at the cabaret stage!
And now, a little bit about PianoFight!
