This interactive workshop will teach you tools and strategies to help you communicate with your children about these difficult topics. Learn how to communicate appropriately at different stages of development so kids can understand what is happening now, as well as the roots of anti-Semitism and hate in a way that decreases their anxiety and confusion. We will also focus on empowering children to respond to peers appropriately and productively, and build a foundation for how to challenge hate in safe and effective ways.
The speakers are Karen Friedland-Brown Director, Parents Place on the Peninsula and Jacqueline Regev, Education Director, Central Pacific Region, Anti-Defamation League.
