Lessons learned in the field from a funny (and really gosh darn likeable) guy.
We're thrilled to welcome adventure photographer and long time frield of Peak Design Liam Lonsdale (@liamlonsdale) to the Peak Design Flagship store for a lecture & discussion on top tips for shooting on the move. Racking up hundreds of flights, thousands of long journeys and some pretty nasty injuries, Liam Lonsdale knows a thing or two about doing it right; and consequently, doing it wrong. Throw into the mix: juggling clients, editing, and all of the other bits and pieces that go with being a self-employed creative and you’ve got yourself some stories.
With his infamously ‘British' delivery, packed full of anecdotes, an evening with Liam promises laughs as well as some solid take-home points. Join him to learn his best tricks for refining a workflow to be optimized for travel, packing ‘light’, sleeping on the go, beating jet lag, and negotiating foreign hospitals. Specializing in rock climbing photography and extreme locations, he spends most of his time in places that others aren’t equipped nor willing to go.
