This week, we welcome DJ Yuka Yu, a sound and film artist hailing from Taipei, Taiwan. Yuka's dynamic sets span continents and cultures -- blending underground and mainstream, electronic and organic. With roots in Chinese, Japanese, and Dutch heritage and a DJ career launched in London, Yuka crafts performances that connect genres and people in unexpected ways.
Her storytelling behind the decks is unmatched, weaving eclectic beats with live instrumentation: Chinese flute, guzheng, violin, and more.
