Come and learn the basics and culture of Tahitian Dance! This class will teach the terminology of the Tahitian Dance movement and choreography, along with the teachings of basic drum beats and music of Tahiti. No previous experience is required. Beginners are welcomed.
Required attire: Pareo (sarong), shorts or sweatpants for girls. Athletic shorts or sweatpants for boys, t-shirt, no shoes (socks are permissible). Classes will be accompanied by live drumming and music.
One hour class every Monday & Wednesday from 8:15PM to 9:15PM held at Mission Blue Center.
Drop in rate: $12 per class. Cash only paid at the door.
