Sweet Elena’s Bakery and Café Celebrates Its 21st Anniversary and Sweet Elena's Honors Women’s Day March 16th With An Open Hous

Sweet Elena’s Bakery and Café located at 465 D Olympia Avenue in Sand City is inviting the entire family to celebrate 21 Years of Sweet Elena’s Bakery and Café!
Saturday, March 16th, 2013
Sweet Elena's Honors Women with an Open House Celebration 12:00 p.m. -5:00 p.m.
• Taste the flavors throughout the years.
• Sip Ventana Vineyards wine.
• View an art show featuring three local woman artists including Marie Gilmore, Mary Liz Houseman and Terese Garcia.
• Shop for a cause. There will be booths with local women artisan’s crafts. Meet the Queen of Quince, Jewerly by Gisela Thieme Shields, Jewelry by Dana Chenelle, clothing store Cat Meow and other local women artisans. 21% of all purchases will go to charity.
• Listen to live music!
• Support Hamilton House and Elm House. There will be a silent auction for all to enjoy!
• The event costs is $25 per person and includes wine tasting by Ventana Vineyards and small bites.
• 21% of the admission price and art sales will benefit the Hamilton House and Elm House emergency shelter for displaced women.

Throughout the entire month of March
• Purchase our Sweet Elena Bakery & Café postcards with art from local children during the month of March and 100% of the proceeds will benefit Hamilton House and Elm House an emergency shelter for displaced and battered woman.
• March 1 – 21st follow us on Facebook for a daily trivia question. There will be 21 winners. 1 winner per day. The winner will receive a different prize each day ranging from free espresso beverages, croissants and lunch! Bon Anniversaire at Sweet Elena’s.
• From March 11th – March 16th have a little luck of the Irish at Sweet Elena’s. Elena is making shamrock sugar cookies decorated for St. Patrick’s Day! Shamrock cookies are $1 per cookie or 15 cookies for $12.00.
• For Easter enjoy butterfly shaped cookies with lemon icing for $1.75 and bunny shaped cookies $1.25 throughout the entire month.
• We always have plenty of quiches and lemon tarts for your Easter Celbration.
• Stop by the week of March 25 – March 30th to enjoy Elena’s special menu additions just in time for Easter. Sweet Elena’s will offer hot cross buns and Italian egg bread colomba pasquale.
