Join Heather Hardcastle, chef & owner of Flour Craft Bakery in San Anselmo and Mill Valley, for a gluten-free fall baking class.
In this class, she is excited to share with you her passion for her craft and the many tips and tricks she has learned along the way so you too can produce amazing results in your home kitchen.
What to expect:
-Cheers! We'll start with a welcome toast & light bites provided by Flour Craft, on the covered patio in front of the fire. Heather will provide a brief intro to gluten free baking at home and what to expect from our class.
-It's dough time! Heather will demystify working with gluten-free pastry dough to be used for all manner of pies, tarts, quiche, and galettes. You will scale and make the dough, roll the dough, shape into free-form galettes, and bake!
What to bring:
An apron is a good idea if you want to keep your clothing flour-free. A willingness to get your hands dirty and learn a new skill.
What you'll take home:
Each participant can choose from sweet or savory fillings and will have a finished galette to take home. Participants will also receive a personalized, signed copy of The Flour Craft Bakery Cookbook, which includes the recipes you will be working with in class.
