Sing-Along with the Jewish Folk Chorus!
The Jewish Folk Chorus has been in existence since 1926. Their vast repertoire of Jewish music includes songs in Yiddish, Hebrew, Ladino, and Russian. The chorus also stays true to our roots in the labor movement by preserving and performing works from their library of Yiddish labor songs. The origins of the Chorus are rooted in the labor movement, and a labor and/or protest song to the repertoire gets added in each season. Over the last 92 years, the Chorus has sung many interesting and difficult Jewish musical works alongside the simple folk music of our ancestors. Come on out and sing along as we all participate in preserving our rich, diverse, and deeply satisfying musical heritage.

You never know which genre of Jewish music may be playing, but it is guaranteed to be enjoyable. While we are religious about our coffee, this evening is a cup full of Jewish culture with the nice finish of havdalah (optional).
