The evening begins with Jimmy Lopez' rousing Fiesta, conducted by Kyle Baldwin.
Then our own Jason Lin steps out in front of the orchestra to solo in one of the most popular violin concertos of 19th century France, inspired by the exotic music of Spain; Lalo's Symphonie Espagnole. And the final piece performed will be Respighi's enchanting Ancient Airs and Dances No. 2.
Saturday, July 26 at 8:00pm at Canada College in Redwood City. There will not be a pre-concert lecture.
