Every year The San Francisco Human Rights Commission (HRC) invests in youth through various forms of youth programming. Please join us on Friday, May 24 at 3 p.m. as we celebrate some of our youths' incredible work from 2018-19!
Since 2017 HRC has been working with a number of schools in San Francisco to support youth advocacy and student leadership. Through the partnerships students have developed strategies to elevate youth voice and address student identified issues. As a result, members of the school groups have courageous conversations around building inclusive and supportive communities.
Moreover, in 2018, students were invited to submit 500 word essays on one of the thirty articles of the Universal Declaration. At this year's SRC graduation, we will also be celerbating the winners of the contest.
