Storytelling is more than just entertainment. It's an effective technique to connect with people, inspire, motivate and convey complex ideas in a memorable way.
We will show you how to tell engaging stories that draw on your personal life experiences. We will cover storytelling basics and not-so-basics including how to hook an audience, building suspense, techniques for adding color, humor, and pathos, and delivering a powerful ending.
Workshop participants also have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience by telling a 5-10 minute personal, true story before a live audience at our June Story Jam at PianoFight in San Francisco.
