Steven Pinker is a Canadian-American experimental psychologist, linguist and author based at Harvard University who conducts research in visual cognition, psycholinguistics, and social relations.
He is the author of a number of books including The Better Angels of Our Nature: The Decline of Violence in History and Its Causes; The Language Instinct: How the Mind Creates Language; and Enlightenment Now: The Case for Reason, Science, Humanism, and Progress.
