Steve-O first became a household name in 2000 with MTV's Jackass, a reality television series that consisted of people performing various dangerous, crude, ridiculous, self-injuring stunts and pranks. Even though the show was cancelled after three seasons, it left a legacy in the form of several spin-offs and films. Since then, Steve-O launched his own "Steve-O Don't Try This At Home Tour" in 2001, which established him as an accomplished stage performer at venues throughout the United States and in a dozen other countries.
