Finally a late, late night (or early) option for dining in the Mission. Brought to you by the team behind Slate Bar and alumni of the Alembic. Just steps from the 16th Street Bart station, Starboard is an intimate, casual place to fill your face. Our fare is something of a contemporary hofbrau. Think roasted meats and veggies, served as a plate or as a sandwich, as well as a mashup of daily specials. Sit down and enjoy it with an eclectic choice of international beers and wines, or grab it to go after the bars have closed. We are open until 3am Thursday-Saturday, until midnight Tuesday and Wednesday. Butcher paper covered tables, bottles of hot sauce and permission to get messy and stuffed with Iggy Pop and the Ramones ringing out of the speakers. If you’re in the mood to get a cocktail, we have a window that serves into Slate bar, we have DJ’s and a great pool table next door, as well as a large selection of spirits and cocktails to enjoy with a bite.
