St. Patrick's Historical Walking Tour of "Irish Hill" with Beer & Snacks

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Last year was a blast, so we're doing it again!
Join us for the 2nd Annual St. Patrick's Day tour of the Dogpatch led by San Francisco City Guides! Once called "Irish Hill", the Dogpatch became home to thousands of working class Irish, Scottish and English immigrants during the 1860's. Learn about the infamous neighborhood and visit historical sites during this 1.5hr walking tour.
The tour will begin at Triple Voodoo Brewery, where you will partake in the Irish pastime of drinking beer! Owner Greg Kitchen will lead a tasting of two of his favorite beers and give an overview of the brewing process.
[ We recommend arriving at 3pm for enough time to do the tasting, and perhaps a beer for the road. The tour will depart at 4pm sharp, and will meander through the Dogpatch until 5:30pm. ]
The tour will end at Spicer on 3rd, where you will receive a complimentary canvas tote and Irish snacks. Plus, you will receive 15% off store-wide, including handbags, gifts, jewelry & more.

This event is a collaboration with San Francisco City Guides, a non-profit that has provided docent Steven Carr to lead the walk. A UC Berkeley grad with Irish grandparents and daughters living in San Francisco, Steven has a vast knowledge of San Francisco and Irish history. He has been a City Guides docent for 3 years and has prepared a custom walking tour specifically for St. Patrick's Day!
[ TICKET INCLUDES: 1.5hr walking tour, complimentary beer tastings, snacks and free canvas tote! ]
** There are only 30 tickets available, so reserve your spot today! **
Please note: This event will happen rain or shine. Must be 21 years of age to participate.
