ASK ABOUT MEMBERSHIP!
We will be hosting a special event included with the open house:
Pruning Clinic on the Railway
Bring your own pruning shears, listen to instruction, watch demonstrations, and then prune one of the dwarf conifer trees planted in the garden railway at the San Leandro Historical Railway Society -- all in one hour, then run a train! Take home a bonsai primer for future study and practice. Instructions will be given by garden railway designer and author, Nancy Norris.
The San Leandro Historical Railway Society welcomes donations of model railroad trains, buildings, and other items in all scales. The Society also welcomes donations of some real railroad memorabilia.
The SLHRS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Your donations might be tax deductible depending upon your tax situation.
