DJ Thrawn – Has been making a splash in the sunny California music scene. After just a few years in the industry DJ Thrawn has already preformed at some of the most respected clubs on the West Coast.
DJ Thrawn has had the privilege of preforming with names such as DJ NAUGHTYJ DJ Skribble, DJ Gerry Roberts, DJ Romero Rays, DJ Adam C, Jazzy Jim, DJ MStyles, Darker Daze, Dave Matthias, Eddie Santana, Amy Robbins, Saint John and Twist Mix just to name a few. Thrawn has a unique style of collaboration due to his roots in Dance/Progressive House, then making an aggressive move towards the Hip-Hop/Top-40 scene in 2009. However, recently Thrawn has come full circle back to House music with a Hip-Hop edge. Thrawn’s ability to control a crowd and keep the bottles flowing is unmatched. As a result of being a Mobile DJ in the beginning stages of his career one of the first things he mastered was reading the crowd and us precise selection to keep the crowd moving. With a collection piled high with Classic Rock, Today’s hits and yesterday’s hip-hop classics he will commonly do mash-ups on the fly and keep the selection fresh.

A San Francisco local, what started only as a hobby for Mikey became an appreciation for music. House music is his foundation. Mikey first landed residency at the Red Lantern where he managed to enthrall the audience with deep house and electronic dance music (edm). Through the bay area's asian entertainment group, Calayan Media Entertainment, Mikey’s first major exposure captured the crowd by surprise. Not long after, two bay area event companies discovered him. 5Senses being one of them, they introduced the public to his other side. Mikey immersed the audience with top 40s, hip-hop and house music. The unusual mix of these genres formulated an exceptional mark which earned him a distinct reputation sought after by promoters and places. This open format opened doors for Mikey to share his music in clubs such as The Cosmopolitan, Horizon,The Grand, Falcon Hollywood Los Angeles, Club Azul San Francisco, Level 236 in San Mateo, Apt 24, Club Mango San Mateo, Recess, Broadway Studio, Vinyl Room, The Cellar, Noble, Atmosphere, Alibi,Raven and Kellys Tavern. Other venues and events he had been invited to include The Penthouse by Trevor Hewitt and Christian Presents. Although well-rounded and exposed to the hot spots of the night scene, Mikey always goes back to his first love - house music. This love has undeniably paved the way to prestigious venues such as Ruby Skye, Four4teen , Temple, Ten15 , Clubx sf, Project One, Qi Ultra lounge, Supperclub, Hard Rock Cafe ,xyz at W Hotel,The Endup, Vessel, Avalon Los Angeles, Terra San Francisco and One Ferry Plaza (Carnellian by the bay). His experience also includes residency at venues such as Lot 46, Risque Lounge and Icon Ultra Lounge San Francisco; teaming up with Dan Hipolito; and guest appearance at Angelstar 104.9 San Jose (edm afterhours radio station). Mikey is currently at Slide San Francisco every first and third thursday of the month. Temple sf every 4th saturday, Region sf every Tuesday.
