This season we are proud to present speakers including: Tara Sophia Mohr | Author of “Playing Big” and “10 Rules For Brilliant Women” and groundbreaking expert on women’s leadership and the implementation of practical skills to make real change in oneself and the world.
When women play big, we change the world. So how do we push away that self-doubt, stand boldly with our big ideas and start playing bigger in this chapter of our lives? Based on her book “Playing Big: Find Your Voice, Your Mission, Your Message”, Tara will teach us how to trust our instincts, identify our callings, “unhook” from praise and criticism, and begin taking bold and wise action.

This season we are proud to present speakers including: Ken Cook | President and co-founder of Environmental Working Group, a public interest research and advocacy organization focused on protecting human health and the environment and the creator of the online consumer database Skin Deep. Ken has been named one of Washington’s Top Lobbyists and is considered one of the most influential 20th Century leaders and change-makers in the world.
Scientific research consistently points to important links between numerous diseases and the chemicals we’re exposed to everyday in our food, air, water and consumer products. How are we exposed, what’s the government doing to protect us and can we actually control our exposure? As a leader in the field, Ken Cook will bring us up-to-date on what we really need to be concerned about, what we can do to protect ourselves and our families, and how we can help ensure a healthier future for generations to come.

The quantity and rate at which our youth are consuming media – movies, YouTube, video, games, and advertising – is growing at an exponential rate. Access to both quality and questionable content seems limitless. What effect is this having on our younger generation, and what can or should we do about it? With his unique background in the media business and having spent the last 20 years studying its impact, Jim Steyer will empower us to wisely negotiate this new frontier.

From marriage to motherhood to menopause, each stage in a woman’s life holds many memorable moments to treasure, yet also many challenges.
