Join the SF Botanical Garden for a sound meditation workshop. A sound meditation is a live sound experience where participants lie down and listen to meditative instruments. Imagine lying on the grass, outdoors in the beautiful gardens while listening to quartz crystal singing bowls and specially tuned gongs. Close your eyes and experience effortless relaxation of the body while simultaneously restoring the nervous system in a natural way.
These unique instruments slow down your brainwaves to meditative-like states through a process called entertainment that have the potential to:
Create sustained harmony of the body and mind
Release emotional stress and physical tension
Receive spontaneous insight and heightened intuition
Soothe and balance your nervous system
Unlock creative potential and journey into your own imagination
Participants simply lie back and listen to a live concert of sound and vibration, no yoga is practiced.
Please bring a pillow, something to lie down on, and 2-3 blankets, or purchase a prop rental ticket and have it all take care of for you.
