Sound Healing Meditation with Pacific Pause

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Start your weekend unwind early and join Pacific Pause every Friday afternoon at The Assembly for a meditation gathering.  Whether you are brand new to meditation or a seasoned meditator, our teachers will guide you through a practice that will leave you feeling grounded, calm and happier. You'll connect with others in our community and leave with new friendships.
On the last Friday of March, join us for a special sound healing meditation with Becca Davis and Nicola Buffa where you will experience an intriguing array of sounds from an extraordinary ensemble of sound meditation instruments including Tibetan singing bowls, Tingsha chimes, drums, rattles and more. Sound baths are an easy and effective form of meditation for experiencing deeply restorative states.  So come immerse yourself in an array of sounds as you journey into the power of sound for healing, well-being and rejuvenation.
The Assembly is a clubhouse for women focused on wellness activities and experiences. The Assembly is a space and community designed for the way millennial women socialize — through fitness, healthy living, and networking. The first wellness-focused space of its kind, The Assembly offers open seating to work and hangout, daily fitness classes from top tier instructors, and gorgeous design. Located in a historic building in the Mission, and engineered for the way we sweat, work, learn, organize, and connect, The Assembly is a kickass group of women coming together to create community in this urban sanctuary.
Becca Davis  began her personal journey into the holistic healing arts when she was introduced to yoga in 2006. Since then, she has received her Yoga teacher training certification completing over 500 hours of training, and is a Reiki Master Teacher. Drawing on her own inspiration and experience with the healing power of sound and reiki, she helps guide the listener to open, balance and expand the natural state of the vibrational rhythms within the body, mind and the spirit. She is inspired to serve others along their journey to finding their highest potential.
Nicola Buffa is an Artist & Sound Healer and has an educational background in Psychology, Art, and Communications. She has been studying sound healing for the past three years in San Francisco, California. As a sound healer, she feels her life’s paths are converging: Her love of the human voice, a profound interest in human behavior and dream psychology, and her deep creativity as an artist and a performer. She believes that with the gentle adjustments and transmutations from sound therapy, we can return ourselves to our true state of being: Creative and Joyful.
