I believe the most important aspect of portraiture, and life in general, is connection. That's why I like to take a little time to get to know each person on an individual level before we begin shooting. Once we're connected, your authentic self can shine through. That's when the magic happens.

When not taking pictures I love to learn any way I can. Some of my favorite ways are by watching movies, playing in nature, and reading while drinking loose leaf tea.
