Somewhere to Land: Dances for Sea and Low Sky

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Sept 26-28, 7pm to 8:30pm

Vertical dance innovators BANDALOOP premiere their new work Somewhere to Land as part of RISING TIDES, the City of Alameda's climate arts initiative. Featuring original live music by Destani Wolf and Ben Juodvalkis.

Somewhere to Land is a new work inspired by the city of Alameda's visionary plan to transform a portion of the former naval air station at Alameda Point into an ecological park. Taking root in hopes for rewilding and for sustainable futures, Somewhere to Land will be performed on the facade of Hangar 25, one of two buildings which have been slated for demolition to allow for the construction of the future 'De-Pave Park.'

Enjoy drinks from Hangar 25 resident companies Urban Legend Cellars, Dashe Cellars, and neighbors Almanac Brewery available from the event bar on site.
Entry is free with RSVP; all ages are welcome! Please bring your own blankets or folding chairs if required.

VIP Tickets include a complimentary drink and a deluxe chair.

Optional add on: 5:30pm / 6pm St. George Distillery Tour.
Group "Creative Spirits" Packages - a perfect team building experience - includes V.I.P. seats to the performance, distillery tours, local wines and bites.
