This there really great indoor brewery (two blocks from the 16th Street BART station). Drinks and food included with your ticket purchase.
You'll meet other interesting people who are inspired by young warriors changing lives for others.
One of those warriors will be there during drinks for you to meet - Mayor Michael Tubbs of Stockton California.
He is a fast rising star in the Democratic world and a political prodigy.
He grew up in public housing and in poverty in Stockton.
He went to Stanford.
He got amazing job offers.
He turned them down. He moved back home and got to work to fix some of the issues plaguing his hometown.
He ran for a spot on the City Council at age 22(!) and won.
He ran to be Mayor of Stockton California at the age of 26(!) and won with 70% of the vote.
He was endorsed by President Obama and is the youngest Mayor of a major city in California.
Oprah Winfrey wrote him one of his first political checks because she was so inspired.
