It's time for another Guerrilla Rep Media Screening! We bring you monthly screenings of the best indie films BEFORE they're made available to the public. This month we're showing the Film Rusty. Here's a snynopsis.
RUSTY is a gritty account of redemption, love, forgiveness, and pain set against a traditional American landscape. The film tells the story of Rusty McCaan, who is recently released from prison and struggling to find work in a rural Montana town. While trying to be a father to his 4 year old daughter, he finds solace in the arms of Maria, a truck stop prostitute who never stays in one place for too long.
The film is an honest take on life in Rural America, and one of the best depictions of white poverty we here at Guerrilla Rep Media have ever seen. Even with this, it avoids being preachy, and gets you invested in the ex con and his struggle to make something of himself after getting out of prison.
Don't miss your chance to see this film on the big screen. It's unlikely to come again. The Producer will be in attendance to talk about the production and the struggles within.
If you want to attend, you MUST get your ticket in advance. At the Door Registrations will not be allowed.
