Imagine a world where homes not only run on clean electricity but also generate, store, and sell it. A world where power companies are paid for conserving energy, not just producing it. Where, when the electric grid is strained, customers are rewarded for reducing or even shifting energy use to a time of day when renewable energy is abundant. America is facing a revolution in the way we make, move and use energy. Technologies like smart appliances that can use power when demand is low, local renewable production, and a more efficient power grid can save money and eliminate thousands of tons of pollution.
The US is poised to spend around $2 trillion over the next two decades replacing our century-old electricity infrastructure. We invite you to join Mica Odom, EDF’s US Climate and Energy Communications Director, to find out what you can do to make sure we spend it on accelerating the transition to a sustainable, clean energy future. We’ll also be discussing how the EDF Clean Energy Program is working to drive this transformation.
This event is free of charge and open to the public. There will be snacks and wine served. To ensure a space, please RSVP by sending an email to Eric at
