Our annual Sisters in Crime evening is benefiting our Legal Advocacy Fund. We will begin the evening with coffee, tea and desserts. Then, we will have our local mystery writers discuss their books and how and why they write them.
The Legal Advocacy Fund (LAF) works to challenge sex discrimination in higher education and the workplace. Our resources range from community outreach programs to backing of major cases.
The authors this year are:
Susan Alice Bickford, Simon Wood, Mary Feliz, Terry Shames and Kirsten Weiss. They have varied backgrounds from high tech to racing cars. Many have lived or worked in other countries and now call the bay area home.
