Sir Francis Drake's 90th birthday Afternoon Tea in the Starlight Room

We are thrilled to be celebrating the 90th Birthday of our Tea partner; the Sir Francis Drake Hotel, which opened in October 1928, and the 10th birthday of Crown & Crumpet!
During the month of October, we will be serving a Champagne Afternoon Tea, three days a week, in the iconic Starlight room on the 24th floor of the Sir Francis Drake hotel. Spectacular views of the City, and a unique atmosphere add up to an amazing way to enjoy a proper Afternoon Tea experience, like no other.
We will be there on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays throughout the month. There will be 3 seatings a day at 11am, 1pm and 3pm. Some days of the month will be sponsored for various Local Charities, which will include special themes and entertainments.
Our Adult ticket will include full Afternoon Tea, consisting of a selectione of finger sandwiches, warm scone, hot buttered crumpet, an assortment of sweets and treats, a glass of Champagne (or non alcoholic drink, if you prefer), and a range of teas to choose from. The childrens Tea will be the same but a little smaller and without the champagne, obviously!! With prior notice, we can accomodate most dietary restrictions, please call us to check.
