Simplifying the Complexities of CDI Diagnostics

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Join us for The Singulex BioRemarkable Dinner during IDWeek 2018!
Featuring: Niaz Banaei, MD, Glen Hansen, PhD, Nira Pollock, MD, PhD, D(ABMM), Stephen Young, PhD
You are invited to discuss a standalone solution for diagnosing Clostridium difficile infection (CDI). This invitation-only dinner event is your opportunity to meet with peers and industry leaders to discuss the latest research data for a novel diagnostic method for CDI. Using Singulex’s proprietary Single Molecule Counting technology, this new diagnostic is designed to identify true CDI with:

Higher specificity than PCR

Higher sensitivity than currently available immunoassays

A rapid, single, standalone test

Together with our distinguished speakers, we will discuss the possibility of eliminating current multi-step algorithms with this single-test solution, the Singulex Clarity® C. diff toxin A/B assay (currently in development; not yet available for commercial sale). This test is designed to conform with the new CDI guidelines and it has the potential to eliminate the cascade of complications and cost implications that result from the diagnostic uncertainty of traditional methods.
Our speakers include:
Niaz Banaei, MD
Associate Professor of Pathology and of Medicine (Infectious Diseases) at the Stanford University Medical Center, and Medical Director for the Stanford Health Care Clinical Microbiology Laboratory
Glen Hansen, PhD
Associate professor at the Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine and Department of Medicine (Infectious Diseases) at University of Minnesota, and Medical Director for the Clinical Microbiology and Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory at Hennepin County Medical Center HCMC
Nira Pollock, M.D., Ph.D., D (ABMM)
Associate Medical Director at the Infectious Diseases Diagnostic Laboratory at Boston Children's Hospital and Assistant Professor of Medicine and Pathology at Harvard Medical School
Stephen Young, PhD
Professor Emeritus of Pathology at University of New Mexico, and Director of Research and Clinical Trials at TriCore Reference Laboratories
Singulex adheres to all applicable state and federal aggregate spend reporting requirements.
