Getting Started with Shibari - In the first part of class we will get you started with some basic technique and knowledge of Japanese Rope Bondage. But that's not all! We will also move thru several exercises and options for play and energetics between partners.
No experience necessary.
If you have your own rope, bring it! You'll need 3-4 lengths of 6mm rope approx. 8m long. Jute or hemp preferred, but bring what you have! There will be loaner rope available for the class, and for sale before & after the class as well.
Signing up solo is totally fine; please come open-minded to potentially work with anyone who may also have signed up solo, regardless of their gender identity or sexual orientation. Attendees also have the option to tie themselves if they so choose, though there will be some patterns in part 2 that cannot be self-tied. You can observe and take notes on those for later!
