Silent Sky

SPARC Theater will be back at Darcie Kent Vineyards this summer for Shakespeare in the Vineyard! This season opens with Silent Sky by Lauren Gunderson, directed by Jennifer Le Blanc. Silent Sky will run from 6/22 - 7/9, so come enjoy award winning wine and a theatrical event under the stars.

DESCRIPTION:
This season of Shakespeare in the Vineyard opens with Silent Sky by Lauren Gunderson, directed by Jennifer Le Blanc. The true story of 19th-century astronomer, Henrietta Leavitt, explores a woman's place in society during a time of immense scientific and heart-bound discoveries. With music and math bursting forth onstage, Henrietta and her female peers change the way we understand both the heavens and Earth.
