The Art Boutiki has hosted jazz, indie-rock, and of course, art shows. Now add comedy/variety to that list. They've had a few comedians perform on First Fridays in the past, but nothing like this upcoming comedy show, which will hopefully be the first of a regular series. Headliner Leslie Small is an up-and-coming observational comedian from San Francisco. Sharing the bill is Chad Optiz (AKA Nervous Energy) who has a hilarious-and quite bizarre-one-man only-keyboard band. The host, Iris Benson, is a talented comedian herself, known for really dry humor. Musical comedy duo Moore Devine will play. Comedians Clare O'Kane and Ron Chapman are also on the bill.
