Safe & Sound is excited to host its third annual Pinwheel Pics, a photo contest calling for powerful images that represent this year’s theme of Superheroes.
Safe & Sound educates the community - children, parents, child-serving professionals (i.e. teachers, after-school staff, and first responders) - on safety, relationships, and child abuse prevention. We offer classes and workshops such as the Superheroes program, which teaches parents and kids how to use their superhero powers and build communication skills. We believe that everyone can be a hero by helping children grow up safe, protected, and loved.
We want to see who you consider your Superheroes! Not all heroes wear capes. Perhaps yours is a close family member or friend in your personal life, or a complete stranger making change in the community. Show us what Superheroes mean to you!
The contest submission deadline is September 15, 2019, at 11:59 pm PST. This contest is open to individuals of all skill levels, with special prizes for Kids and Teens. Winners will be announced at our Pinwheel Party on September 26. The top photographs will receive prizes and recognition as outlined in our contest rules and conditions.
