Sahlimar is one of those places you really love, excellent food (spicy & delicious), cheap prices (under $10), friendliness. No wonder it has such a loyal clientele. An added fascination is the urban, scuzzyness of its location in the tenderloin. Despite this fact, many people swear that this is one of the best San Francisco Indian-Pakistani restaurants.
Favorite dishes include: Tandoori Chicken, chickpeas in spicy red sauce, lamb kebab, and lentil daal. And out of the Tandoor oven: naan bread and paratha.
