FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)
What do I bring to the event?
Bring your glove and water. Do come dressed to move, as these are live drills.
Who should attend? and Why?
It is a MANDATORY requirement for each SFYBL team in each division to have at least one representative (a rostered coach, assistant coach, team manager, volunteer) attend our yearly coaches clinic.
It is imperative that your team be represented. You will NOT be allowed to participate in the 2018 Season if your team is NOT represented and there will be no refunds. Each year, we go over basic baseball elements, coaches guidelines, crowd control, code of conduct and much more. Even the most experienced coaches will walk away with some knew knowledge.
There are two steps in order for Teams to receive their Practice Field Permits and Coaches Cards:
1. ALL coaches assistant coach, team manager, volunteers, any adult that will have contact with players on the practice field and game day MUST be volunteer cleared and know the concussion protocol.
2. Each SFYBL team in each division MUST have at least one representative (a rostered coach, assistant coach, team manager, volunteer) attend our yearly coaches clinic.
