SF International Arts Festival presents Sha Sha Higby in "Shadow of the Fox"

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Foxes and dogs bark to warn us of the changes wrought on planet earth by humankind. Images of animals appear in the background as they twist and transform. Shadow puppets enlarge and shrink. People lose all sense of scale and proportion.

Sha Sha's installation costume represents a giant god looking down onto the world as it moves through various disasters of wind or weather and shadows. The pulsating fox heads are woven and beat throughout the giant costume and the stage.

Projectionist Keith Evans will propel effects onto a textured background.
