Local celebrities, politicians and nearly one hundred San Franciscans will rappel free-hanging 230 feet from the roof of the Hyatt Regency San Francisco at 5 Embarcadero Center on Thursday, March 27 and Friday, March 28 to help expand outdoor learning opportunities for low-income students throughout California. The high perceived risk of this very safe activity will give brave San Franciscans a mental and physical challenge that they’ll be sure to remember for years to come!
The first annual Outward Bound California City Skyline Challenge is bringing the thrills of mountaineering and the power of experiential learning to the Bay with a chance for corporate teams, businesses and individuals to go over the edge of one of the tallest buildings on the San Francisco Skyline. Rappel yourself, with your team, or “Toss Your Boss” with the goal of raising more than $250K for the organization known across the country for teaching people that they can achieve more than they ever thought possible.
