We invite you, your family, and your friends to join us at our 63rd Annual Gem Show & Sale which takes place on Saturday August 19th & Sunday August 20th at the SF County Fair Building in Golden Gate Park (9th Avenue & Lincoln).
The show features 30 vendors and over 60 stunning displays with high quality specimines from all over the world! According to Show Chair Ellen Nott, "Our theme this year, “Gems and Minerals of the Far East’, emphasizes colorful and exciting displays from Asia and beyond. We are expecting displays of fine Jadeite and antiquities, beautiful pearls from Japan and China, and a display of Suiseki specimens, in addition to the exquisite exhibits of member collections, creations and Society projects.
On-site events include educational demonstrations: carving, geode cutting, flint knapping, lapidary and beadwork. Door prizes are scheduled for both days, so don't forget to get your raffle tickets too! Traditionally attracting a broad spectrum of visitors, this weekend event is ideal for the entire family. The show also arranges educational and entertaining activities geared for children, so bring the youngsters along with you.
