The Hoop Shoot, a basketball free-throw competition returns, taking place December 11th at the Salesian Boys and Girls Club, 680 Filbert Street in North Beach. (There will be free parking on site!)
It's a fun and free competition for kids aged 8-13, and the Elks sponsor the winners to go on to the District and National competitions. The event is free and you do not need to be related to an Elk to compete. The goals of the Hoop Shoot is to teach kids the value of practice in reaching your goals.
