SF Dyke March

SEE EVENT DETAILS
The annual Dyke March will start at 5pm from 18th & Dolores.

Dyke March is an inclusive event. We welcome members of the LGBTQ community of every body, color, gender, ability, background, immigration status, income, and sexuality. This march is for queer bodies and our right to space, and as such, we ask that our cis, straight allies respect this space. Of course, we love and appreciate allies? continued support and if you'd like to help keep dyke spaces alive, PLEASE get involved! We can always use help planning and coordinating the march, but reserving this space for queers comes above all. Thank you so much for your support and understanding.

Follow this event for details. Also check out of FB page, Twitter (@DykeMarchSF), and Instagram (@DykeMarchSF) to keep yourself updated!

Come join our community and support the resistance on the side lines or in the march as we celebrate our diverse community, friends and neighbors in the continual fight for equality.

About The Dyke March

The mission of the San Francisco Dyke March is to bring the dyke community together to celebrate our unity, raise our consciousness and be visible.

Strengthening an international perspective in our community, the rally and march advocates justice for all dykes around the world. We advocate on issues against oppression, racism, sexism, homophobia, and poverty.

To mobilize our coalition we organize an annual march that takes place during the week of Pride celebration (last weekend of June). The rally/cultural event showcases our community's artists, critical thinkers and political activists.

It is one day where dykes can proclaim space, rights, visibility and respect.

The San Francisco Dyke March is for dykes. Dykes gather at the Dyke March to celebrate our love and passion for women and for ALL dykes. We celebrate our queerness in all its manifestations. We understand dyke identity to include those of us who are questioning and challenging gender constructs and the social definitions of women: transdyke, MTF, transfeminine, transmasculine, genderqueer, and gender fluid dykes. We also welcome all women who want to support dykes to march with us. Celebrate dyke diversity!

We continue to hold the Dyke March as dyke-only space. We invite our male allies to enjoy our Dolores Park rally with us, and to please support us from the sidelines during our march to the Castro.
