7th West (Seventh West)

7th West is owned and operated by four Oakland locals who are friends and small-business owners: Donna Inscho Brinkman and Kevin Pelgone of Overlook Lounge, Assan Jethmal of The Good Mother Art Gallery, and Pancho Kachingwe of The Hatch. With 7th West they hope to establish a space that serves as an affordable event space, a meeting spot for entrepreneurs, a stage for aspiring musicians and poets, a rotating art gallery, a mixed-genre dance floor reflective of the city's rich heterogeneity, and of course -- a place for residents to connect, socialize, and unwind.
