On Lok and Center for Elders' Independence host the 6th Bay Area Senior Health Policy Forum (SHPF) on Tuesday., Dec. 3 at the South San Francisco Conference Center. The forum - "Shaping the Future Together: Aging in the Bay Area" - features keynote speaker Kim McCoy Wade, acting director for the California Department of Aging. Wade, who has devoted her career to enhancing programs and services for older adults, will share her perspective on how we can shape the future for healthy aging in California. The Bay Area Senior Health Policy Coalition brings together advocates, providers, policymakers and stakeholders to inform policy and create a healthy aging environment in the Bay Area.
