Seeing Voices- Using Light to Restore, Preserve Early Sound Recordings

Hear from experimental physicist, Carl Haber, and his process of using sound to uncover early California sound recordings. A number of recordings of particular relevance to early 20th Century California have been restored. Included is a recording of Jack London from 1915 and a variety of California Native American field recordings.
