This encore exhibition of Buddhist devotional paintings by the late biologist-turned painter, Tsuneo Iwasaki returns to the Jodo Shinshu after its exclusive West Coast premiere this past January. The accompanying lecture is presented by curator, Dr. Paula Arai. renowned author, speaker and professor of Buddhist Studies who worked closely with Iwasaki while researching his paintings which "illustrate the liberative power of the Heart Sutra."
