Seeing Photos -- An Experience for Parents

SEE EVENT DETAILS
This experience is for parents who want to enhance their relationship with photography.

You will:
-Become empowered to take your family photos off your hard drive or phone and get them onto your walls.
-Learn how to select timeless images, including what speaks to you as a parent and what would speak to an artist.
-Have a mini-critique* with Sarah and/or Rubin to get insights on your smartphone shots.

Thanks to smartphones, modern parents have been documenting their families daily. They even hire photographers like Sarah to capture special milestones. But so often, the imaging process stops with saving images on an electronic device.

This event will inspire you to look more closely at your family’s photos. It will help you learn to decipher the best shots both from professional photo sessions and from your own vacation shots.

You will experience the value of archival printing, and how the selection and printing process refines your artistic experience with photography.

The event is free, but you must rsvp to attend.

*If you wish to have a mini-critique, please save up to 10 images into a single folder on your phone in advance of the event. Scrolling through entire phones will not work in the event format. Please google, “How to make an album” for your phone model, if you do not know how. In the interest of time, please do not approach Sarah or Rubin for a critique until you have created a folder/album with no more than 10 photos for review.
